We generally try to organise two or three large meets a year, and then smaller private events every month or so throughout the summer, as demand dictates. We have our own 21ft scaffold tower that we use for suspensions, which can safely hold the weight of two people, allowing for tandem or simultaneous suspensions.

The format of the events is generally the same regardless of size. We have at least two experienced body piercers overseeing each event, but we encourage all our members to take an active role, from assisting with the piercing and aftercare, to holding the ropes while others suspend.

We generally have between four and twelve suspensions per day, and try to allow people to choose whether they want to suspend during the daytime, or after the sun has set. We start off with a general running order, but we don't impose a strict timetable, instead allowing people to wait until they feel ready, and take as many breaks as they need to make the suspension experience a good one. While there are no suspensions going on, other activities take place, such as play piercing, lip sewing, and cheek skewering. We are happy for members to participate in play piercing on their own, or with friends, with our experienced staff available to oversee the activity.

Images from earlier meets we have organised are available on the gallery page .

Our members are largely based around the online community of IAM/BME , but we are happy for anyone with an interest in the subject to attend meets. We won't suspend strangers, but if you'd like to suspend with us, you are welcome to attend a meet and get to know us, with a view to suspending at a later date. Our meets are organised as strictly private events, and as such, no press are permitted. If you want to take photographs for your own personal use only, that is fine, provided the people you are photographing are okay with it!

Future events will be listed on the BME events listing . If you wish to suspend privately, then email vampy for more details.
